  • Our tree contractors (Amey) have completed a thorough network inspection
  • Following these inspections Amey have also completed cutting areas identified as requiring work without the requirement of an interruption to supply
  • Amey have a number of outages booked before the year end to cut areas which can only be completed with an interruption (if this is the case you or other members of the parish will be notified in advance by letter)
  • Amey will continue cutting areas requiring outages into the new year and we expect this work to be completed by the end of Q1
  • We have completed the required repair works on the two permanent faults previously identified in my letter however we did experience a further Overhead Line issue which was also resolved.
  • We have initiated a thorough review of the network and I can confirm to date we have raised a scheme (approx. £60k) to install some further equipment on our network to reduce the number of customers interrupted during any future fault activity.
  • These units will also be installed in the early part of 2021
